Coronavirus has had a substantial impact on lives and businesses worldwide. Riding on the back of BREXIT however, the UK economy was not in rude health, placing UK businesses at greater risk of substantial impacts. We know we aren't saving lives, however, our work has a substantial impact on our customers and so we have been preparing in earnest to ensure that our services continue as normal.
However, in these turbulent times we also want to ensure that we are doing as much as possible to support our clients while remaining robust and profitable ourselves. We're already thinking of grand ways that we can make a difference, and fight our way out of this problem when the dust has settled, but for now we've outlined below some small ways that we can make a difference.
We're a digital agency and have had business continuity plans in place to work remotely for years. We practiced them weeks ago, and actioned them last Tuesday and have been working remotely well since then. Of course it's not plain sailing, figuring out how to work well together has been more of a challenge. But each day we're learning more about the new normal.
Next let's cover some practical ways we can help you and your business going forward.
We currently offer customers the opportunity to pay by credit card, with a small fee. From today, and for the next 3 months, any customer can pay by Visa, MasterCard or American Express with no additional charges, on your existing payment terms. Enabling you to leverage up to 59 days interest free credit in addition to our normal payment terms, to support your cash flow.
We will review this offer at the end of 3-months, and currently expect to return to the 3.75% charge for card transactions at the end of this term.
Next up, we can help if you need to make amendments to your site as a result of Coronavirus. For example, if you're currently paying to use a store finder service and want to remove that from your site to reduce costs then talk to us.
For the next month, we'll make a minor Coronavirus amendment (up to 1 hour) to websites we have built or host and support, free of charge.
Nobody knows if this is a short term turbulent storm for the next three months, or the new normal for the medium term. One thing is for sure understanding how you can market and sell your way out of turbulence is critical. If you'd like to talk about your plans, sound out ideas, or just have a bit of a moan then let's have a call. We're really interested in how we can forge more links and talk more in these days of self-isolation, so please give us a call on 01276 817465.
