Apprenticeship, Training & Careers Events
Carbon Six Digital regularly attend Apprenticeship, Training, and Careers events across the South East of England. Below are details of the events we'll be appearing at in 2019. Information will be added on a regular basis so be sure to check back in to keep up to date.
Farnborough 6th Form TEA Fair
One of our favourites is the Farnborough 6th Form College Training, Employment and Apprenticeships (TEA) Fair where we'll be exhibiting on Tuesday 19 March 2019 from 9.30am until 3pm.
At our stand you'll be able to find out more information about our award winning Apprenticeships Programme, including our Zero to Hero Level 3 Developer Apprenticeship and our new Debt-Free Degree Programme.
You'll be able to meet our Apprentices and get the chance to quiz them on their own experiences as well as exploring the opportunities open to you.
We'll also be running a Drop-In CV Clinic on the stand where we'll give advice on ways to improve your CV and improve the way you present yourself to prospective employers. You can also book into one of our Mock Interviews where you can hone your interview skills following our real-life interview structure.
Drop-In CV Clinic
Come along to our Drop-In CV Clinic and we'll get our red pens out and give you some feedback and pointers on how to improve your CV. The CV Clinic is available to anyone applying for Apprenticeships in any field, but obviously we'll give the best advice for those heading into our field. You'll walk away from the clinic with some real, actionable improvements to your CV that will help you to win the interview of your dreams.
There's no need to book for the the CV Clinic, just drop by and we'll give you advice there and then.
Apprentice Mock Interviews
The purpose of the mock interview sessions is to give potential Technology Apprentice Applicants an opportunity to experience a real job interview. The interview will follow our usual telephone interview format.
Who's this for?
This is open to anyone at the TEA Fair interested in applying for Apprenticeships in an IT field. You don't have to intend to apply for our Apprenticeship but needs to be in a similar field in order for us to ask relevant questions and give valuable feedback.
What will you get out of this?
Real world feedback on your interview performance. This will include how well prepared you were, how well you answered the questions, and ultimately, were this to be a real interview, whether we would invite you to the next round.
We have the following slots available on Tuesday 19 March 2019 at the Farnborough TEA Fair:
Treat it like a normal job application. If you find a slot you'd like to interview in then send us an email at email@example.com with your preferred time slot and a copy of your CV and a covering email.
